The test design below describes general testing information. The assessment blueprints that follow are detailed outlines that explain the knowledge and skills that this test measures.

  • Subtest 2: Mathematics: 50 multiple-choice questions
  • Subtest 3: Science, Health, and Physical Education: 40 multiple-choice questions
  • Subtest 4: Social Studies and Fine Arts: 40 multiple-choice questions
Time*
  • Subtest 1: Reading and English Language Arts: 60 minutes
  • Subtest 2: Mathematics: 90 minutes
  • Subtest 3: Science, Health, and Physical Education: 45 minutes
  • Subtest 4: Social Studies and Fine Arts: 45 minutes
Passing Score 220 per subtest; candidates must pass all four subtests.
